PHONE IS NOT PRE-ACTIVATED: You will not receive a phone that is already activated or already assigned a phone number. There is no such thing as receiving this phone already activated. You are purchasing a phone that you must either activate with Tracfone to receive a new mobile number or use as a replacement phone by inserting your current working Tracfone SIM card. Activation is the customer’s responsibility and must be completed through Tracfone.
TRACFONE SERVICE REQUIRED: This phone can only be activated and used with Tracfone. Do not purchase this phone if you plan to use it with another carrier, another SIM card, or any non-Tracfone service.
PHONE DOES NOT COME WITH AN ACTIVE PHONE NUMBER: The phone is not pre-activated and does not include an assigned phone number. You must activate the phone through Tracfone online or by contacting Tracfone customer service.
ACTIVATION INFORMATION: Store/register barcode scanning is not required to assign a new phone number. For activation, Tracfone customer service will need the phone’s IMEI number and the SIM card number included on the red Tracfone activation leaflet inside the package.
